Hi! I'm Ashlee Kelly, the founder of the Gumbeaux in Jackson, Mississippi. I started the Gumbeaux in 2018 for a few reasons: to offer proposal writing at an affordable rate, provide a fun and quick course on proposal writing, and help minority and disadvantaged businesses scale.

Before the Gumbeaux, I cofounded two architecture companies with my husband and worked in both the public and private sectors in proposal writing, public policy, and economic development. As a result of needing a creative outlet, I have spent several years as a freelance writer and podcaster. I also spend too much time making graphics you probably don't even notice.
